Close was commissioned by the editors of Stock Car Racing Magazine to compile the coffee table-style book on one of NASCAR’s most dynamic and driven personalities.
The book is 159-pages in length and features original content by Close and past stories from the pages of Stock Car Racing, Circle Track and Oval Racing Magazines. The text chronicles Stewart’s drive to the top of the Go Kart, Midget, Sprint, Champ, Indy and NASCAR ranks. The volume is illustrated by more than 140 pictures detailing Stewart’s racing history through the open wheel ranks to the top levels of stock car racing.
